Roman Scharabun Passes At 52
Many of you have already heard - and some are hearing now for the first time. Our friend, founding member, and world recognized fly tier, and fly fisher Roman Scharabun passed away on February 24th.
Like many of our departed friends, Roman has left us a legacy of talent, conservation, education, and goodwill - and we are poorer for his loss.

Roman left us with many wonderful things to remember him by. On Wednesday March 2nd, 2005 - some of his friends will by tying his patterns in remembrance at the NLFT weekly meeting. Lance Taylor, Barry White, and Dennis Southwick will share some of the patterns that Roman gave to the fly fishing community - for us to perpetuate in his honor.
